The club had a feeling of ‘deja vu’ this weekend, as Lanarkshire Lightning returned to Fife Ice Arena for a ‘barrier game’ against our U10 and Learn to Play teams.
No scores are kept in these games as the focus is on development and fun – an ethos shared by the coaches of both clubs.
The U10s game was end-to-end, with some very exciting young players on each team.
The LTP cross-ice was far less structured, but there were definite signs the children are on the right path, and they loved it!
Every goal was celebrated like a Stanley Cup winner – which is what it’s all about!
Players of the game for Fife were Struan Patterson (Ducks) and Kaiden Coles (Eagles).
