Kirkcaldy Kestrels are delighted to confirm that award-winning Fife company Pinpoint Ltd will be the club’s new headline sponsor.

Pinpoint develops, manufactures and installs reliable and easy-to-use safety systems to protect staff at risk of violence and harm in the workplace.

Designed by healthcare workers to meet the sector’s specific needs, Pinpoint’s products deliver full system integration, placing them at the centre of an organisation’s security network.

Found in every NHS Trust throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Pinpoint continues to be the gold standard of staff safety systems.

The firm has a strong connection to ice hockey. The company’s late founder, John Waring, was the director of the Fife Flyers – the oldest professional ice hockey team in the UK.

Pinpoint Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Waring, is thrilled to have the opportunity to re-establish a link between his family and ice hockey in Fife.

“I am delighted to continue my father’s legacy in supporting Fife’s thriving ice hockey scene through this sponsorship of the Kirkcaldy Kestrels,” he said.

“Several staff members play with the Kirkcaldy Ice Hockey Club, and we know what a strong and welcoming community the club brings.

“We look forward to cheering on the Kestrels as they begin Scottish National League fixtures in September.”

Daryl Venters, chairman of Kirkcaldy Ice Hockey Club, expressed his satisfaction at securing a vital sponsorship agreement with the Fife-based company.

“We are incredibly grateful to Pinpoint for this generous sponsorship, particularly ahead of the competitive season,” Venters said.

“Their support ensures our players have access to the best coaching and resources to develop their game and achieve success on match day.

“Being a membership organisation, sponsorships like this play such an important role in getting the most from our players and delivering great performances. Here’s to a great season!”
