Kirkcaldy Kestrels returned to winning ways in the Scottish National League with an emphatic 8-1 victory at Kilmarnock Thunder on Saturday.
George Pitcaithly opened the scoring for the Kestrels in the fifth minute, but the home side quickly hit back to level the scores.
The respective netminders subsequently had the upper hand until the 30-minute mark when Josh Saunders put the Kestrels back in front.
Conor Duncan extended the lead a couple of minutes later before Saunders weighed in with his second of the game to make it 4-1 to the visitors.
Duncan, Allan Anderson, Joe Somerville and Kyle Horne added further goals in the final session to give a lopsided look to the scoreline.
The Kestrels are back in action on Saturday when table-topping Aberdeen Lynx visit Fife Ice Arena (6.00 pm).
