Kirkcaldy Kestrels booked their place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup after completing a 10-3 aggregate victory over North Ayrshire Wild.
The Kestrels led 4-1 after the first leg but were given an early shock as Wild nabbed a goal in the opening period at Fife Ice Arena.
However, goals by Joe Somerville, Finley King and Scott Jamieson in the middle session gave Steve Wishart’s side an iron grip on the tie.
Conor Duncan and Chris Wands added further goals on either side of Jamieson’s second of the night in the final session to make it 6-1 on the night.
Wild netted a late consolation, but the Kestrels saw out the remaining time with a minimum of fuss.
They face either Edinburgh Capitals or Paisley Pirates in the next round. The Capitals lead 5-2 after the first leg.
The Kestrels are scheduled to face the Capitals in the Scottish National League on Saturday (6.30 pm).
