Kirkcaldy Kestrels are pleased to confirm that netminder Craig Holland has agreed to another season with the club.

After signing for the club midway through the 2022/23 campaign, Holland remained with the Kestrels for the following campaign.

He recorded a 90.7 save percentage and helped the team reach the Scottish National League play-off final last season.

The 31-year-old had previously iced in the Elite League for Edinburgh Capitals and Dundee Stars. He also had a spell with Fife Flyers in the Northern League.

Holland will be joined in the netminding ranks by Andy Little, who returns to the Kestrels after several seasons with the Flyers.

The 26-year-old has largely been used as a back-up goalie but will relish the opportunity to compete with Holland for the starting berth next season.

He last iced for the Kestrels during the 2017/18 season, and also spent time in the club’s junior set-up with Fife Falcons.

Little’s return gives the Kestrels a senior netminding duo who will be the envy of other SNL clubs.

The duo will be supported by Cameron Kenny, who served as the back-up to Holland and Ben Keddie last season.

Kenny is rated as one of the club’s most talented young netminders and will continue his development with the Falcons next term.
