Kirkcaldy Kestrels switch their attention back to the Scottish National League (SNL) on Saturday (6.30 pm) following a successful foray into the cup competition over the last two weeks.
The Kestrels defeated North Ayrshire Wild 10-3 on aggregate to book their spot in the semi-finals, where they will face either Edinburgh Capitals or Pirates.
The Capitals are the favourited to progress after securing a 5-2 victory over the Braehead-based outfit in their first meeting last weekend.
They return to league action tomorrow against the Kestrels, and both sides will be eager to lay down a marker ahead of another potential meeting in the cup.
The Kestrels head into the weekend fourth in the table, three points behind the second-placed Capitals, having played a game more.
They will be gunning for revenge after narrowly losing a seven-goal thriller in their first meeting at Fife Ice Arena in the middle of November.
