Kirkcaldy Kestrels are delighted to confirm that Lewis Gold will be part of the club’s roster next season.

Family and work commitments have kept Gold off the ice in recent seasons, but he is raring to return with the Kestrels.

The forward regularly represented Scotland at junior level before furthering his development in North America.

He returned to these shores for the 2011/12, and played an integral role as Solway Sharks romped to the English National League 2 title.

Gold subsequently iced for Dundee Comets, where he averaged more than a point per game to help the team win several trophies.

He joined Murrayfield Racers in 2019, who went on to win two cup competitions during the season.

Gold agreed to sign for the Racers the following year, but the COVID-19 pandemic scuppered his hopes of icing.

The 33-year-old is a welcome addition to the Kestrels’ ranks ahead of what promises to be a thrilling 2025/26 season.
