Kirkcaldy Kestrels switch their attention back to the Scottish National League (SNL) on Saturday with a home game against Kilmarnock Thunder (6.30 pm).

The Kestrels booked their place in the Scottish Cup final by completing a 4-3 aggregate victory over Edinburgh Capitals last weekend.

Steven Wishart’s side will now turn their focus to their remaining league fixtures ahead of the upcoming SNL play-offs.

The Kestrels are currently fourth in the standings, which would pitch them into a group against the teams finishing second and sixth if they stay there.

A victory this weekend would boost their cause, although Thunder will be eager to make life difficult for them.

The Kestrels have had the upper hand in three previous meetings this season but will be taking nothing for granted when they hit the ice on Saturday.
