It was a busy weekend for the club’s youngest players, with our Learn to Play (LTP) group and U10s both in action.

Head coach John Simpson took the LTP squad to North Ayrshire for a cross-ice event featuring the hosts’ LTP team, Lanarkshire U10s and Solway U10s.

The youngsters acquitted themselves well and were extremely competitive against the more experienced u10s teams. They also thrived against the hosts.

The club hosted Dundee’s LTP and U10 teams in a ‘barrier’ game at Fife Ice Arena on Sunday.

The coaches introduced a couple of very young players to the LTP team, and they performed very well.

Player of the game was awarded to Caleb Munro, He was outstanding, especially after only being a netminder for 11 days!

The Eagles showed great promise for the upcoming season at U10 level.

They netted some great goals, including a ‘stunner’ from Liam Coles, according to head coach James Scarborough.

The effort and teamwork were a joy to behold and demonstrated how the players are taking on board what they have been taught.

Player of the game went to netminder Bella Wallace.
